The 28 acres of vines and rustic but sophisticated tasting room and patio provide spectacular views of the Alps. In this exquisite environment, we plant Cabernet Franc, Chardonnay, Seyval Blanc, Traminette, Norton, Albario, Vidal Blanc, and Malbec wine grapes. Each wine reflects our commitment to Virginia winemaking. Veramar was formed in 2000 when there were few successful wineries in this region. Since then, their son Justin Bogaty has joined the firm as a winemaker, and the Virginia wine sector, notably in Loudoun County, has boomed. Every part of Veramar, from the vineyard to the winemaking, is handled to create a family enterprise that can be handed down for decades.
