Over the last twenty years, Hunter’s Ridge has been in operation. We’re always expanding our knowledge base. The United States Pony Club has recognized us as a member associate organization (USPC – as River City Pony Club). Our teachers are well-known worldwide, and many of them have participated and been judged on the international horse show circuit. Rider levels range from recreational to national and international competition. In addition to being a CHA-certified teacher, our owner and chief instructor, Katherine R. Level Green Riding School
Adults and children of all ages may learn to ride an English hunt seat at Level Green Stables in New York. Day programs for children aged 7 to 16 are offered in the spring and summer. Services offered by our company range from boarding to leasing to training to sales. Horseback riders may enjoy 200 acres of wooded land with two illuminated riding circles and a cross-country course. Executive Vice President, Manager, and Co-Founder of Helen Messenger Helen’s love for horses began when she was only 5 years old. Wilkes-Barre General Hospital’s Nursing Program awarded her a diploma in 1972. Throughout her career, she worked in everything from the operating room to the delivery room to the infant nursery. In 1977, she mostly worked with children, but in 1985, she began working with adults with special needs. Helen began trail riding in 1977 after purchasing her first horse, Rum Rico Bars. In 1981, she started participating in shows and breeding Quarter Horses with Sleepin Partner. Mezzanine Vista Farm opened its doors in January of 1995 and is home to equestrian activities, including horse boarding and riding lessons. In 1996, therapeutic horseback riding was included in the list of services. Mesa Vista Therapeutics, Inc. (MVT) grew out of the farm and was incorporated as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation in November 2005 with the main goal of serving people with disabilities.
