Great Frogs Winery
For us, it’s not just about creating great wine; it’s about making great wine that’s accessible to everyone. We realize it’s a lot of effort, but we believe you deserve to know what wine is all about. We warmly encourage you to experience the uniqueness of this region’s wines for yourself by visiting one of our tasting rooms. Website
Thanksgiving Farm Winery
Thanksgiving Farm’s vineyards were first planted in 1998 on land previously used to cultivate tobacco. Thirteen acres of our property are presently planted in vineyards. Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot are the only Bordeaux red grapes we cultivate to produce our dry red Meritage wine each year. As the first commercial vineyard in Anne Arundel County, Maryland, we acquired our license in 2006. Thanksgiving Farm grapes are used only to produce our Thanksgiving Farm brand wines. All of the juice used in the production of our Towhee brand wines comes from outside sources. Twenty miles east of Washington, D.C., Thanksgiving Farm sits on a moderate slope that separates two watersheds: the Patuxent River and the West River. Website
