Over the last 75 years, the Julia A. Purnell Museum has been a tiny, nonprofit museum dedicated to preserving the area’s history. To further educate the general public, we acquire, conserve, and exhibit artefacts of cultural and aesthetic value. The museum’s treasure search and free educational craft activities in July are our primary means of educating the younger generation about the area’s history.
