In this book, Charles Carroll, lawyer, his wife, Margaret Tilghman Carroll, their children, and slaves and indentured servants who resided there are described. Fire Museum of Maryland
In 1971, the Fire Museum of Maryland became a 501(c)(3) non-profit organisation. There are apparatuses from 1806 to 1957 on exhibit in what is considered one of the best fire fighting museums in the United States.
