Wheaton Park Stables

WPS has been around for about 60 years and has had two prior owners. We now have our Equine Dentist as the original owner. Sandy Creecy, the current owner, worked in a professional office for more than 30 years before making a career shift during the most difficult time. “Never say never, and don’t ever give up on your goal,” she tells the youngsters and young people. She’s been running WPS since January 2008, and she’s had a lot of fun with horses, students, families, pets, and our two orange tabby cats, Oliver and Maisie, who keep the mice out of the barn. The Maryland National Capital Park and Planning Commission (MNCPPC) leases property to WPS as part of Wheaton Regional Park, privately owned.
