Golf Courses near me in Queen Anne’s County
Blue Heron
It was initially built in 1967 as Carnation Golf Course but was renamed Blue Heron Golf Course in 2011 following a substantial makeover and name change. Drainage and irrigation improvements in the makeover have allowed the course to quickly drain the Snoqualmie River, threatening to flood it at times. Blue Heron G.C. is a little over 6,000 yards, but that doesn’t mean it’s any less challenging. There are several hazards to contend with, including strategically constructed bunkers. The par-5 17th is a blind tee approach. Thus a long iron would be more useful than a driver. Website
