As you can see, we’ve got a lot to be thankful for. Since it initially opened its doors as a vaudeville theatre in 1926, the Wayne Theatre has had a significant influence on our town. It was a small group of community members that saw the potential of the Wayne and worked tirelessly to bring it back to life, reopening it to the public in 2016. As a way of putting it, we like to say that the theatre’s restoration was done by, for, and returned to the community.
